For us at Spiritnova, the connection between sport, wellbeing and new technologies is not simply a research topic — it represents the very core of our daily work. For this reason, we were proud to take part in the workshop “Innovation in Motion: Sport, Wellbeing and Technologies,” hosted at Progetto Manifattura in Rovereto, the innovation hub of Trentino Sviluppo.
The event offered a valuable opportunity to explore how intelligent sensors, innovative apps and virtual reality are transforming the way people train, recover and experience sport — promoting physical and mental wellbeing not only for humans, but also for animals.

During the workshop, we had the pleasure of moderating the panel “Innovative Solutions for Protecting Animal Health,”where we shared our vision of technology as a practical tool for respect, prevention and improving horses’ quality of life. It was inspiring to exchange ideas on how data analysis tools and emerging technologies are reshaping the world of sport and disciplines involving animals.

Throughout the day, we participated in visits to the CERISM laboratories and thematic round tables focused on research and development in sports technologies, reflecting on how access to the right knowledge and tools today makes it possible to optimise training, enhance performance and, above all, safeguard wellbeing.

The event — organised by Fondazione HIT – Hub Innovazione Trentino in collaboration with Trentino Sviluppo S.p.A. and the University of Trento, within the Smart Specialisation Strategy of the Autonomous Province of Trento — brought together organisations such as CERISM, Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), and numerous local companies.
