Spiritnova Prima saddle pad: protection, breathability and innovative design

The Spiritnova Prima saddle pad was created with a clear and precise objective: to protect the horse’s coat and ensure optimal breathability, contributing to the animal’s wellbeing without interfering with the saddle’s functionality.

It is made entirely from pure Bergschaf wool felt, with wool sourced from Austria and carefully selected to ensure consistent quality over time, durability and natural comfort. The composition is engineered to deliver optimal performance:
90% Bergschaf wool, 10% polyester
Thickness of only 4 mm

The Spiritnova Prima saddle pad is intentionally very thin, because our saddle does not require corrective layers. Unlike many traditional saddles that rely on thick pads to compensate for rigid or non-adaptive structures, Spiritnova Prima is designed to adapt perfectly to the horse’s back.

For this reason, our saddle pad has a single purpose: to protect the horse’s coat — not to isolate or compensate for a structure that does not function correctly.
Bergschaf wool is appreciated for its natural ability to regulate moisture and promote breathability, keeping the horse’s back dry and helping prevent irritation and overheating during work.

The Spiritnova Prima saddle pad is enhanced with leather inserts that can be customised in colour, allowing each rider to coordinate this element with the rest of the saddle and create a unique, cohesive look aligned with their personal style.
